Plot

Three years ago, four monstrous birds invaded the forest of the Clans. Bent on destruction, they picked off cats at will, striking terror into the hearts of even the bravest warriors. Gatherings were forsaken for fear of becoming easy targets, and the populations of all four Clans suffered. Finally, the leaders agreed to a truce to defeat the winged demons once and for all. After a long and bloody battle at Fourtrees, the birds were finally killed...but few cats rejoiced; the bodies of dead warriors lay strewn across the clearing.

It's been two moons since that final battle. The Clans are finally beginning to recover and pick up the pieces of their old lives. But where do they go from here, with new leaders, young deputies, and inexperienced medicine cats? The path will be long and hard, and many struggles lie ahead.

CLANS of the FOREST V.3

Well, it was fun while it lasted. My sincerest apologies to those members who joined recently and never got to see this site at its best, with active and friendly members. To all members, past and present, thank you so much for making CotF what it was: a place to hang out, improve your roleplaying skills, and make new friends. I'll never forget this place and how it helped me grow, not only as a writer but as a person. I hope my fellow admins and I managed to carry on CotF's spirit of welcoming acceptance and honor our founder Summer's intentions. I hope we managed to encourage all of you in some small way; I guess I can't ask for anything more than that.
